Hey, everyone. There's been a good few recent incidents of our employees getting hacked, so while we figure out what's going on with these incidents I'd at the very least like to introduce some basic security tips every now and again to make sure our employees are keeping their data as private as possible.
To start us off, I wanna talk about EXIF data. EXIF data is the extra data that comes in image files; it can deal things like the camera model, date and time a photo was taken, and more, but most importantly you might be able to find someone's location in an image's EXIF data. Most social media and image hosts will try to remove any EXIF data from photos for your own safety, but nonetheless it's important to consider using one of the many online tools to scrub your images before posting them online.
That's my first tip. See you all around for the next!
